State of the Woman

The 2026 State of the Women Report will highlight progress women have made in Pennsylvania over the last 60 years and identify the gaps that still exist.

Women across Pennsylvania are encouraged to contribute to the report by completing a digital survey or attending a listening session.

WOW will be participating in the Women in Blue Day in Harrisburg sponsored by the PA Federation of Democratic Women.  This day will give you an opportunity to meet with Legislators, attend committee meetings and House or Senate in Session and tour the beautiful Capitol Building. The group will be arranging bus transportation to the event.  If you are interested, please complete this form

Speakers will kick off promptly at noon, so get there on time to hear from inspiring voices and be part of this big community moment! We're lucky to have former U.S. Congressman Conor Lamb return and share his insights, ideas and inspiration.

 We had 3,000 people at 2.0 — let’s see if we can beat that number this time. Bring friends, energy and your curiosity.

Walk A Mile in Her Shoes

Each April, Blackburn Center hosts its signature event, Walk a Mile in Her Shoes. The goal of the Walk is to raise awareness about gender-based violence in our community. It is a call to action for our community and a way to raise much-needed funds to support the Blackburn Center's mission. 

What: Westmoreland County's 14th annual International March Against Rape, Sexual Assault, and Gender-based Violence.
